Dust off your warp pipes and grab your super mushrooms! To celebrate the legacy of the Big N, Just Press Play is hosting a massive Nintendo Trivia Competition. It’s time to prove you aren’t just a background character in someone else’s adventure.

Whether you’re a seasoned speedrunner or just starting World 1-1, grab your team and get ready—it’s time to see who reigns supreme in the Mushroom Kingdom and beyond!

Tournament Rules

Form Your Party: Players may form a team of up to 4 people.

The Gauntlet: There will be 4 rounds of 10 questions. Each round has a specific theme and point total!

Round 1: Super Mario Bros.

Round 2: The Legend of Zelda

Round 3: Metroid

Round 4: General Nintendo

The Point Spread:

Round 1: 2 points per question 

Round 2: 3 points per question

Round 3: 4 points per question

Round 4: 5 points per question 

Critical Hits: The tenth question in each round is worth double points.

The Solo Bonus: If your team is the only one to get a question correct, that question is worth triple points.

Standings: After each round, team sheets will be collected and scored. Leaderboard standings will be announced before the start of the next round.

The Rewards (The Hoard of Coins)
We are awarding a total of $225 in store credit to the top three teams:

1st Place: $100 in JPP gift cards ($25 increments)

2nd Place: $75 in JPP gift cards ($25 increments)

3rd Place: $50 in JPP gift cards ($25 increments)
